Willesden Supplementary School
The primary aim of Willesden Supplementary School is to supplement the education that students receive to ensure they are able to take full advantage of their mainstream educational programme. We work with students to nurture their independence and provide support to enable them to develop motivation, confidence and respect. We encourage our learners to develop enquiring minds and provide opportunities that help them to develop morally, socially, spiritually and culturally.
We provide support with Maths and English by offering opportunities for educational advancement which have consistently resulted in the improved academic attainment of our students. We also have links with private tutors who can provide specialist one to one academic support with chemistry, biology, physics, French and Spanish.
The Willesden Supplementary School was established in 1997 and is committed to providing educational support services for children between the ages of seven and sixteen. The quality framework of the school has been formally approved by The National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education who have assessed the school with regard to teaching and learning, governance and community engagement.
